There’s a debate on social media about the term working moms with the notion that all moms work. Who can argue with that! Being a mom is a job in and of itself. On the other hand, the term working mom is a term used specifically for moms who have jobs outside of the home and it is in no way meant to demean or put down moms who stay home.

Finding balance between work and home life is a struggle for any working mom. When do I have time for me? How do I focus on housework? These are some of the daily struggles that most moms face as they attempt to be moms and employees or moms and business owners.
With that said, we asked a number of working moms the advice they would give to other working moms and wanted to share their feedback with you. We also included our own pieces of advice, hoping to inspire moms looking for a bit more balance.

Moore serves as adjunct faculty for a number of universities, teaching leadership, communication and journalism courses. She's an expert in leadership theory and trends, with a doctorate in organizational leadership, and is mom to four children ages 7 to 1 years old.
