It’s back-to-school time and many of us are relishing the sweet tastes of Summer before we say hello to Fall. Mango is a sweet, delicious fruit that offers a slew of health benefits for women. It is rich in Vitamins A and C, Iron, Fiber, and has a low glycemic index. Creating a smoothie from this beneficial fruit is a great way to start your morning, even if you’re still adjusting to that new school year schedule.

Mango Coconut Smoothie

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of coconut milk
1/2 cup of  frozen mangos
3 Tbl carob powder
4 dates with pits removed
2 Tbl hemp seeds

Instructions:
Add coconut milk to blender.
Add frozen mangoes, carob powder, dates, and hemp seeds.
Blend for 1-2 minutes.

You can also eat this as a smoothie bowl. Place it in a bowl and top with fresh fruit, grains, or granola.

Mothers often find themselves in a rush to feed themselves, especially when school is starting again. A smoothie is a great way to get the proper nutrients in a short amount of time.
